I am an OFSTED registered childminder living in Olton, Solihull close to St Margarets School, Chapelfields School and Daylesford School. Me and my husband have both been CRB approved. I have two sons aged 17 months and 5 months. I am presently completing the NVQ Level 3 Childcare Home Practitioners course. I am a member of the N.C.M.A. CHILDREN COME FIRST childminding network. I have undergone paediatric and emergency first aid training.
I have a large house, the whole of the downstairs is used for childminding purposes.This includes the living room, dining room, playroom, downstairs toilet, utility room, kitchen and garden. The garden is accessable everyday and has a slide, swing, sand pit, water play, play house, childrens table and chairs, tunnel, trampoline, ride-ons / trike etc.
I absolutely love doing daily activities with the children these include story time, role play, arts and crafts, singing, dancing and with older children other activities include gardening and baking. I also visit various playgroups, various childrens centre (local centre 5 minutes walk away), local library, various parks, farms and childrens activity centres. I will also arrange various trips throughout the year to places like the sea life centre, museums, zoo's etc.
I have many toys and resources available to children including books, toys, puzzles, play gyms, activity gyms, dressing up outfits, play kitchen, ball pit, musical instruments, games, walkers, televisions, dvd players, computers, arts and crafts.
The children that I will care for will be in a happy, secure and homely environment. I know how hard it can be finding the right childcare but be rest assured that any child that is in my care will be in very good hands, I am a very caring, happy and patient person. People who meet my boys always comment on how well behaved and happy they are and my eldest will be very happy to have a new play companion.

As mentioned above I have two sons of my own, I have also got alot of experience in looked after all aged children from birth to 16 years.
I am university educated so can assist children with homework if required.

My Availability
Full / Part time places available from January 2012 including School Holidays, School Pick-ups and Drop-offs.
Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm (I can be flexible on these hours if required)
My Fees
Fees will depend on individual requests, however an example of my fees are below:-
Full time child 8am - 6pm £35 per day
Included in this price are snacks and drinks,
Also included are playgroup fees and the cost of all other daily activities and trips to places like farms, children centres.
£4.00 School Pick-up and Collection
£3.50 per hour before / after school & holidays.
Discounts can be given for siblings.
£1.00 Lunch (or parent / carer can provide packed lunch)
£1.00 Hot Evening Meal (or parent / carer can provide packed lunch)
