Qualified and experienced 5 or 6 days a week live-in Maternity Nurse, also First Aid, Post Natal Depression and Sleep Training qualified. I hold an Enhanced CRB and Professional Insurance, have excellent checkable references and previous clients are happy to speak with you following interview if you are considering employing me.
I'm happy to work in the UK and abroad for up to 6weeks, as well as accompanying families (whose baby is under 12months) who need 24hour cover when they travel.
I also work as a Consultant, supporting parents with breast and bottle feeding, getting baby to sleep, weaning baby etc.
I draw alongside parents and teach and support them how to care for their baby - feeding(breast, expressing, formula), sterilising bottles, routine, changing nappies, encouraging baby to have good sleep associations, baby hygiene and bathing baby, baby's laundry and cleaning. I'm also happy to do the night feeds if required.
I believe it's important to ensure that parents are consulted and their options explored to enable them decide on the routine etc that suits them best. I include older children to help minimise potential jealousy issues. I also ensure Mum has time to rest and that she has a balanced diet.
I keep up to date with professional training - ensuring that I provide the best possible care to my clients.
My daily rate for 24hours live-in is £170.00. (I'm self-employed, so pay my own tax and insurance). Consultancy rates vary according to your requirements.
